about

The first track of the upcoming EP, "Dark", to be released in August.
_______________

"You should see this band live. Make it a priority." - Smile Politely Magazine

"They have a huge sound, owing in part to the string section but also due to the excellent composition of each song" - WPGU 107.1 FM
_______________

Feral States began as a vision of composer Joseph Meland, whose music is firmly rooted in rock but has the compositional freedom of contemporary classical music. An 8 AM music theory class brought him together with the other members, and the band quickly expanded from the sound of one composer to a unique combination of voices that together sound like nothing else. Their second EP, Dark, will release in August.

Track Name: Empty Sails
we walk over lonely trails, still wind in our empty sails
absent friends, falling down again
we look from the other side, failing to sense the other's cry
we walk, silence, run and be lost no more

dim light now dark, i've forgotten the glow i felt
broken sun now set, yet something shines
when will it rise?

we touch, hearts collide
trading grief for time

solo: samuel hasting
